Warehouse and Maintenance Technician, Yavne Site

The company’s Yavne site operates as a CDMO facility specializing in the development, scale-up, technology transfer, and manufacturing of chemistry-based products for pharmaceutical and related industries.

Primary objectives of the position: Manage and supervise the company’s warehouse and inventories and support the maintenance activities.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

· Ensures that all Warehouse Department Operations (Dispensing Raw Materials, Dispensing Packaging Materials, Shipping and Receiving and Inventory Control Management) abide by cGMP’s

· Responsible for the optimization of processes within the supply chain department (warehousing, shipping, material planning) to improve (process) quality and to increase efficiency

·  Support & lead SAP improvement and implementation

·  Perform logistics data analyses and reporting, resulting in process improvement initiatives

·  Warehouse maintenance, ensuring cleanliness and tidiness of stocks in the warehouse

· Work with internal groups to review and assess the impact of supplier change requests, and responsibility for implementation and approval of same

·   Manage, monitor, and optimize inventory levels across raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to support customer demand, maintain service levels, and ensure operational continuity.

·  Coordinate with Purchasing and Quality department to improve the Quality Systems procedures relating to suppliers

·  Support the assessment of non-conforming products received from suppliers

·   Analysing the life cycle of how goods are moved from the planning stages to the end consumer

·  Analyse underperforming areas in the chain which may be due to missed delivery times and routes, warehouse space constrictions, stocking program limitations, etc

· Troubleshooting for deliveries, goods receipt, quality notice and payments

·  Stay abreast of relevant cGMPs, and other regulatory requirements and ensures study management activities are aligned

·  Support organizational QMS activities (e.g., Change Control, Deviations).

· Maintain manufacturing process equipment units and BMS (Building Management Systems) to perform at optimum performance level to meet production targets

· Utilities – Maintain HVAC, Chilled Water, WFI, Compressed Air, gases and electrical supply etc.

· Perform routine equipment maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and make on-site repairs when needed

· Maintain inventory of parts for minimum equipment breakdown

· Servicing and replacing old or faulty equipment

Education: A degree in Science, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory. Relevant industrial experience will be strongly considered.

Experience: At least 3 years of experience in warehouse, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing support, or maintenance roles within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical, or regulated manufacturing environment.

 Skills:

· Strong organizational skills and the ability to adhere to company procedures and deadlines

·  Professional attitude and a strong work ethic, and ability to work both alone and in a team

· Specific experience in the areas of Supply Planning, Materials Management, Inventory Management, Demand Planning and Sales / Operations Planning

· Possesses strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

· Comfortable with making decisions in an ambiguous environment

· Proven process improvement skills with a natural curiosity and desire to understand how things work.

· Demonstrated ability to work in an ambiguous and fast-moving environment

· Proficiency in SAP and/or other Planning/ERP systems

· Work under pressure- Should have ability to work transparently while working with tight timelines

·  Customer-oriented and quality-focused

Languages: (speaking, writing, and reading): Hebrew and English at a high professional level.

Computer literacy: especially MS Office and prior use of any ERP is a must
