We respect your privacy. This privacy policy describes the online information practices of Scinai Immunotherapeutics Ltd. (“Scinai”) and the way your information is collected and used at the Scinai.com website (the “Site”).

Capitalized terms used and not otherwise defined in this document shall have the meanings set forth in the Scinai.com Terms of Use.

1.     Information Collection and Use.
a. The Site logs non-personally-identifiable information including IP address, profile information, aggregate user data, and browser type, from Users to the Site. This data is used to personalize the Site, manage the Site, track usage and improve the Site services. This non-personally-identifiable information may be shared with third-parties to provide more relevant services to Users. User IP addresses may be recorded for security and monitoring purposes.
b. Information collected through the Site may be stored and processed in any of the countries where we or our service providers maintain facilities. You therefore understand and consent that your information may be transferred outside of the country in which you reside.
c. Except as otherwise described in this privacy policy, Scinai will not disclose personal information to any third party unless we believe that disclosure is necessary to conform to legal requirements or to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other legal process, whether or not a response is required by applicable law; to enforce the Scinai.com Terms of Use or to protect Scinai’s rights; or to protect the safety of members of the public and Users of the service.
d. Scinai reserves the right to transfer information to a successor in interest that acquires rights to that information as a result of the sale of Scinai or any of its assets.
e. Please do not send Scinai any confidential or proprietary information and material by email, through the Site or in any other way. Any information or material submitted or sent to Scinai, will be deemed non-confidential, and Scinai shall be entitled to use such information as it deems fit.

2.     Use of Cookies. Scinai may use cookies to store Users’ preferences and to record session information, for purpose of customization of content. We do not link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information you submit while on the Site. You may configure your browser to accept or reject all or some cookies, or notify you when a cookie is set. However, you may have to enable cookies from Scinai in order to use some functions on the Site. Scinai’s website may use a Google Analytics tracking code which sets cookies. Every user is registered with a unique but not-personally identifiable ID, to provide Scinai with aggregate, anonymous insights such as how many unique visitors visit the web site, and how many users return. With Google Analytics, one can survey how often any single user has visited the website, what pages they visited, for how long they stayed and how they interacted with the site.

3.     Links. The Site contains links to other websites. Scinai is not responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices on other websites, nor will it be liable for any content related claim related to the access of third party websites. When linking to another website a user should read the privacy policy stated on that site.

4.     Security. Scinai takes precautions to insure that member account information is kept private, and uses reasonable measures to protect member information that is stored within our database.

5.     Changes in Our Privacy Policy. From time to time we may make changes to our privacy policy. If we make changes that are materially less restrictive on our use or disclosure of personal information you have provided to us, we will publish any such changes in a visible place on the Site. A User is bound by any changes to the privacy policy when using the Site after those changes have been posted.

Scinai Personal Information Privacy Policy

We may collect certain information or data about you when you subscribe to our email list, or share information online (e.g. direct communication with a Scinai employee or representative, website and social media channels) and offline (e.g. at face-to-face meetings, and by providing your business card).

Personal information that we may collect and retain includes:

  • Your name, email address, telephone numbers, address, and other information you provide (e.g. Information on your business cards such as Employer, title, and location).

  • Records of face-to-face meetings

  • Records of online and offline communications with Scinai employees and representatives

  • Your email address and subscription preferences when you sign up to our mailing list

  • How you use our emails – for example whether you open them and which links you click on, your IP address, and details of which version of web browser you used.

This data can be viewed by people on the Scinai team to:

  • improve the site by monitoring how you use it;

  • gather feedback to improve our services, for example, our communications and use of third-party services;

  • respond to any feedback you send us if you’ve asked us to; and

  • send emails to users.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data with any third party.

Where your data is stored: Scinai stores all data collected on our website on secure servers located in the State of Israel.

Scinai routinely personally identifiable data to a third-party email provider for the purposes of creating, adding to and maintaining our mailing lists which we use to communicate with you. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this.

When you sign up to our email mailing list: We use a third-party email service, such as MailChimp and SquareSpace, to manage our regular email communications to members and these services act as a data-processor on behalf of Scinai. These service may be provided by a US company and with staff based outside the EEA, and may store your data in the US. When you sign up to our email alerts, you agree to your data being stored in this way. Keeping your data secure: Sending information over the internet is generally not completely secure, and we can’t guarantee the security of your data while it’s in transit.  Scinai does not accept liability for any data in transit and any data you send is at your own risk.

We take reasonable steps to secure your Personal Data and have operational procedures and security features in place to keep your data secure once we receive it.

Disclosing your information: We may pass on your personal information if we have a legal obligation to do so, or if we have to enforce or apply our terms of use and other agreements. This includes exchanging information with government agencies for legal reasons.

We won’t share your information with any other organisations for marketing, market research or commercial purposes, and we don’t pass on your personal details to other websites.

Your rights: You can find out what information we hold about you, and ask us not to use any of the information we collect. For users in jurisdictions covered under the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you (the data subject) have several rights in respect of your data and how Scinai processes it:

  • You have the right to request whether or not your personal data is being processed by Scinai;

o   You also have the right to have any inaccurate data corrected, or incomplete data completed. You also have a right to obtain a copy of any incomplete or inaccurate data.

o   You have the right to request that Scinai ceases to process your data and the “right to be forgotten” where, upon your request, Scinai will delete all personal data held about you.

o   You also have the right to request that Scinai restricts the processing of your data and the right to object, at any time, to the use of your data for direct marketing purposes or profiling.
